This year, to announce our exciting acquisition by Ansaldo this past February, PSM and Ansaldo jointly exhibited our offerings and capabilities on the exhibition floor at PowerGen International in Orlando, FL. The PSM/Ansaldo booth was one of the larger exhibition spaces among the 1,400+ exhibitors. With over 20,000 attendees at the show this year, our return to PowerGen went noticed by many! We were kept busy with current and potential new customers who came by the booth to talk to our Commercial team members supporting the event.
Capturing visitors’ attention were our 7E, 7F, 9F and 501F/701F hot gas path designs, including FlameSheet™, in the booth, plus AutoTune. Ansaldo’s focus was on the introduction of the new H-Class gas turbine, the GT36, into the Americas. Recall that the FlameSheet™ combustion system is an integral part of the GT36, providing it outstanding operational and fuel flexibility. These displays attracted a lot of traffic, and allowed excellent visuals to represent the vast array of the capabilities of our company.
In addition, PSM and Ansaldo presented a total of eight product presentations to potential customers as part of the technical conference, focused on our differentiated offerings in the marketplace. This was supported by several in-booth presentations on the defining attributes of our GT36, including the latest status of our full-unit, full load validation testing in Birr.
All in all, a very successful show and a fun time to reconnect with our customers!
